Course Introduction:
During this three-day course, attendees gain the knowledge necessary to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps..
Participants in the class gain insights into mastering Business Agility in order to thrive in the competitive market. They discuss how to establish team and technical agility and organize and re-organize around the flow of value. They also learn and practice the skills for supporting and executing PI Planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Participants in the class explore the importance of adopting a customer-centric mindset and design thinking approach to agile product delivery. Learners also develop an understanding for implementing a Lean Portfolio Management function in their enterprise..

At the end of the course delegates can take the official SAFe® Agilist (SA) exam. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups.

Prerequisites:
None. All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended:
- 5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
- Experience in Scrum

- During course, 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
- Classroom lecturing.
- Individual and group assignments.
- Exam preparation session

- Preparation and eligibility to take the SAFe® Agilist (SA) exam (with in 30 days of end of the course - extensions are available at cost)
- One-year membership to the SAFe Community Platform (renewals are available at cost)

- Attendees must attend all 3 days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.

- Exam has 45 questions, alocated time 90 min, 36 to pass (80%)
- The exam is online , at student convenience
- Second attempt on exam (first retake - available at cost) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. (retakes available at cost)
- Certified SAFe® Agilist digital badge to promote the accomplishment online (in case of succesfull taking of the exam)
